In the Under-8 competition, Football Talent Asia have already claimed the top spot with a perfect record this season, but FCKL are sat second, level on points with Ombak FC. With Ombak playing their final game an hour before FCKL, the pressure will be on Coach Chris’ side if their rivals manage to take the win over Ampac FA.

FC Kuala Lumpur’s must-win game is against FC Bandar Utama, who could confirm their fifth place with a result from this match. Catch the action at 9:00am this Sunday, 27th November on Pitch 1 at 9:00am.

The 11-team-strong Under-10 division has been closely fought throughout this third season of the KL Junior League. Though newcomers Titan United wrapped up the title in the previous round of matches, second and third spots are still very much up for grabs.

Second place is currently held by Coach Akim’s FC Bandar Utama side but, having played their final match last weekend, there is nothing more they can do to stop a resurgence from SK TTDI 2 Red Dragon FC who sit just two points behind. A win for FC Kuala Lumpur, meanwhile, will secure their fourth place finish. They play bottom-of-the-league Astaka at 9:00am on Pitch 3.

Undoubtedly the most tense clashes this weekend will happen in the Under-12 division. With FC Kuala Lumpur sat top of the table and JB Warriors having lost their final match last weekend, it all comes down to a game between FC Bandar Utama and FCKL. If the BU team take it they win the league; if they draw, they move into second spot; if they lose, however, they could drop to fourth. All FCKL have to do to win the KL Junior League is secure a point, but both managers are keen to end the season with a strong performance.

If you only catch one game this weekend, make sure it’s this one. Kick-off is at 10:00am on Pitch 2.

There was great news last weekend for FC Kuala Lumpur in the Under-14 division when a win against Ombak FC confirmed their place at the top of the table this season. And though Coach Azizi’s side don’t play this weekend, they will be presented with their champions trophy in the U10, 12 and 14 prize presentation at 11:00am.

FC Bandar Utama, meanwhile, will have a tense wait to see if their five points is enough to secure fifth place. Ombak FC sit just one point behind them with one game to play against Football Talent Asia at 10:00am on Pitch 1.

On Saturday, 26th November, sixth placed FC Bandar Utama take on fifth placed Football Talent Asia before FTA then face FC Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. FCKL will need a result to secure their third place finish with RHK FC looking for a win from their final match against league champions Ombak FC. There’s no denying it’s been an incredibly exciting season of the KL Junior League, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the players and parents who have supported our team’s campaigns. We look forward to closing out an excellent year of competitive matches this weekend and don’t forget, we’ll be celebrating our players’ achievements this coming Saturday, 3 December at the FCKL Awards Night 2016.
