While the Under-14s and Under-16s played out their final games in the KL Junior League last weekend, the competition culminates in an exciting day of matches for the 8s, 10s and 12s this Sunday, 22 May.
10s TAKE THE TITLE
For the Under-10 team especially this weekend is one to look forward to. Having secured the title after their previous match, the boys can enjoy the day ahead of the official trophy presentation.
Six points clear at the top of the table going into the final round of matches, they have had an incredible first season of 2016 under Coach Will and thoroughly deserve the medals that await.

Big battle for 8s
Coach Chris’ Under-8s have not had luck on their side this season. Twice the victim of teams unable to play matches, they have received two 3–0 ‘walkover’ victories. Despite being level on points with the Royal Selangor Club, therefore, they sit 22 goals behind on goal difference.
FCKL will be awarded a 3–0 ‘walkover’ win this weekend in the absence of Sri KDU, meaning RSC must win their game against Football Talent Asia to claim the title. There will be plenty of eyes on that match then, with even a draw being enough for FC Kuala Lumpur to take home the trophy.
Cup final for 12s
With the 10s taking the title already and the 8s needing other results to go their way, the most compelling competition for FCKL this weekend is surely the Under-12 league. Having finished the head-to-head games top of the table by way of goals scored, FC Kuala Lumpur now go into the Cup final against a JB Warriors team that finished level on points with them.
When the teams last met they played out a tight 2–2 draw, so Coach Shazwan will be looking for an extra bit of spark from the boys this time.

Elsewhere in the Under-12 KL Junior League, Coach Filipe will lead the FCKL U11 team in the round robin Plate competition against the Royal Selangor Club and Football Talent Asia. On the line: third place overall and the prize of being crowned KL Junior League 2016 Plate winners.
